Training Points

 TRAINING POINTS 

Each new character starts with 15 training points to spend on skills or profession  abilities. 

Further advancement of attributes, profession abilities and skills are done using training points.  Training points are awarded at either the end of an adventure session or if using level system  when enough experience is gained for the next level. 

SKILLS 

Bonuses For High Skill Level

5 Skill Takes One Less Action Level

6 Skill Gain +1 Critical Severity

7 Skill Gains +2 Critical Severity

8 Skill Always Has Advantage

9 Skill Takes Two Less Action Level



Skills cost 1 training point per level up to 3rd skill level, a new character can not start with a skill  higher than 3. The maximum level any skill can reach is 9. A character can attempt any skill in  the rule book as an untrained roll. Untrained skill attempts are made with a –3 modifier. Skills  have an assigned profession for meeting profession ability requirements. R=Rogue, W=Warrior,  M=Mage and P=Priest. Skills also have an attribute assigned that attribute level is added to the  die roll when attempting an active skill roll to effect the circumstances. 

SKILL COSTS

Skills 1-3 cost 1 training point each 

Skills 4 –6 cost 2 training points each 

Skills 7 –9 cost 3 training points each 

To go from a Sword Skill 0 to a Sword Skill 6 would cost 3 (1 for each level 1-3) + 6 (2 for each  level 4-6) for a total cost of 9 training points.
